JUST.MEN.ARIZONA
Our Mission
Is to actively disrupt the commercial sex market at the point of sale through personal man-to-man conversations with potential buyers who contact prostitution ads online.
We are training men about the causes and solutions to sexual exploitation and how they can leverage their voice to speak up for the voiceless.
SEX TRAFFICKING HAPPENS RIGHT HERE IN ARIZONA
Commercial sex costs Arizona more thank you think.
Arizona’s geographic location and network of freeways makes it a hub for illicit activity. According to the U.S. State Department, Arizona is a main destination and transit point for labor and sex trafficking from within the U.S. and multiple regions of the world. The biggest misconception is that trafficking is something that happens overseas.
Local and federal law enforcement has indicated that sex trafficking is happening in Arizona at an alarming rate. According to a study by STIR, 78,000 men in Phoenix are online sex ad customers.
THE HIDDEN COST OF PURCHASING SEX
Purchasing sex can have serious personal and social consequences, including legal risk, arrest, damaged family relationships, loss of trust, and long-term emotional harm.
It may also reinforce exploitative behavior and weaken a person’s ability to form healthy, respectful intimate relationships.
DEMAND IS FUELED MOSTLY BY MEN
We need men to fight the biggest social justice issue of our time.
According to the Demanding Justice Report, 99% of the buyers are men. Men are systemic to the problem and therefore men are systemic to the answer. Only through educating men will we slow down this epidemic within the U.S.
Our mission is to bring men to the fight to end demand for prostituted people. We educate buyers through our disruption tactics and community awareness events
IT'S BIG BUSINESS AND THE TRAFFICKERS GET THE PROFITS
Purchasing sex is often framed as a personal transaction, but in many cases it fuels a broader system of exploitation where traffickers, not the individuals being sold, receive the financial benefit.
HELP STOP SEX TRAFFICKING IN OUR STATE
Just.Men.Arizona is answering the call.
We are a collective of men, including fathers, uncles, brothers, grandfathers, and friends, who are committed to ending the exploitation and trafficking of vulnerable individuals.
Our mission is to confront demand by helping buyers recognize the humanity behind their actions. We aim to bring awareness to the real lives and stories of those being exploited and to challenge the perception of individuals as commodities. While law enforcement efforts continue and arrests are made, sex trafficking in Arizona persists and is increasing at an alarming rate, underscoring the urgent need for prevention, education, and accountability.

HOW WE DO IT
There are three dynamic ways Arizona men can get in this fight
1.
Actively disrupt the online sex market.
Join an elite team of men who have learned how to personally engage online sex buyers directly at the point of sale. You’ll be supported by The Just.Men.Arizona Project and its cutting-edge intervention tactic for disrupting the online exploitation market. This program has seen multiple iterations and improvements over nearly 4 years of real-world testing. It has resulted in over 100,000 disruptions of online sex buying and contributed to the arrest and conviction of dozens of high frequency buyers.
2.
Directly confront the proliferation of illicit massage parlors.
This is a strategy aimed at exposing and putting community pressure on property owners where known illicit massage parlors operate. This is an aggressive letter writing campaign with phone follow up to property owners that puts them on notice that there are men in their communities that are aware of and in opposition to these businesses.
3.
Learn how to harness the power of social media to amplify your voice to speak out against gendered violence and sexual exploitation.
Attend an educational program aimed at training men’s groups on the causes and solutions for sexual injustice that includes but is not limited to commercial sexual exploitation. Then learn how to leverage social media to make your voice loud and clear.
